Greatest climaxes in life??

Ok so this would be my second post in like 6 months!!! And the reason for it? Well that's in the title lol. Im watching my #4 sitting in front of the t.v ( her usual spot) watching Bambi!! Now we all remember that movie, the climax for me being when Bambi's mum dies. Witch made me think about Lion King. When Mufasa dies. Now that was also the most memorable part of that movie for me. So with these being the two greatest tragedies in a child's  life, i find myself asking  " Is that it". Do we work ourselves up so much when a character dies that the rest of the movie just feels pointless?? Regardless of the happy ending are we already emotionally scared?? Is death that much easier to deal with because "we've seen it on t.v"?
When you grow older there's promises of wonderful times ahead, The climax in teenage years being your first date, the first kiss. Now was it all that you expected it to be? What about the first time you lost your virginity, was that as wonderfully played out as we so often witness on t.v? Or was the climax for you the same as it was for me? ( the moments leading up to it were more exciting).
With all the emphasis these days we put into " Getting the most out of life" do we really practise what we preach or has the height of our climax in life already been reached thanks to childhood movies?? hmmmm.....
